What would Australia be without a Wallabie. There are mini zoos in many of the small parks that have OZ type animals such as wallabies, kangaroos, wombats, and a variety of birds such as cockatoos and gallahs.

Hi jd. Little bird told me that you posted some pics on your blog. Look great. Just a quick note on the Wallabie. This pic is actually from Tassie, the forgotten state of Oz. Wallabies, penguins, echindas, kookaburra, and tasmania devils are everywhere. We ran into this little guy on our hike down to Wineglass Bay on the Freycinet peninsula. It was spectacular!

In almost 2 years in the land of Oz we didn,t get to Tasmania, but we did get up to Cairns. Great country to travel in if you aren't bothered by the poisonous snakes, spiders, fish, jelly fish, the blue ringed octopus, or man-eating sharks. Hope you had fun Kt.
